Obituary for Donald Ray Barnes
Donald Ray Barnes, age 51, of 508 S. Park Lane, passed away late Tuesday, March 24th, 1987 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services have been set for Friday morning at 11:00 a.m. at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by Pastor Vernon Tinsley. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery with Full Military Honors. Arrangements are with Lowell Funeral Home.

Born November 10th, 1935, in Altus, Oklahoma, he was the son of Ohmer and Anna Lou Barnes. He attended Altus Schools through Junior year in High School, graduating at the High School in Corpus Christi, TX. Barnes was called to active duty during the Berlin Air Lift and served three years. Before ill health forced his retirement, Mr. Barnes was a Cement Mason for McDonald Engineering Corporation.

Survivors include: his Mother and Father, Ohmer and Anna Lou Barnes of the home; one step-son, Larry Bryant of Corpus Christi, TX and one step-grandchild.
