Obituary for Donald Wayne Duke
Graveside service for Donald Wayne Duke, 68, Altus, Oklahoma will be at the Altus City Cemetery on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at 9:00 A.M. with Mike Fairchild, Prairie Hill Baptist Church, Prairie Hill, OK officiating under the Lowell Tims Funeral Home, Altus.

Mr. Duke died Monday, July 13, 2015 at an Altus Nursing Home.

Donald Wayne Duke was born to Jesse S. and Rosalee (Tinney) Duke in Altus, Oklahoma on January 29, 1946. He grew up in Altus and attended school there. He married Niaomi Ashley and they were married for 40 years before she passed away in 2007. He worked at Bar-S as a Boxer and Bagger in the production line for many years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his nieces and nephews..

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife.

survivors include 6 siblings, Shirley and husband David Welch of Altus, Ruthie and husband Nolan Caswell of Louisiana, Betty Wilson of Altus, Alice Hopp of Altus, Paulette and husband James Richhart of Altus and Darlene and husband Tom Pettijon of California; and many nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
