Obituary for Donia C. Scogin
Mrs. Donia C. Scogin, age 89, pioneer resident of this area, died Wednesday night at English Village Nursing Home.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Friday at Lowell Memorial Chapel, officiated by the Reverend Carl McCoy and assisted by the Reverend C. L. Abercrombie. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born January 20, 1888 in Calaveras County, Texas, she was married in the late 1950's in Altus to Mr. Glen Scogin who survives.

Survivors include: in addition to the husband: one son, Mr. Glen Green of Altus; one daughter, Mrs. Myrtle Hawthorne of Sunray, TX; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren.
