Obituary for Donna Jean Truitt
Services for Donna Jean (Hankins) Truitt, age 45, of Altus, Oklahoma, are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Sunday, April 12, 1992 at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Altus City Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating.
Mrs. Truitt died Thursday evening at Lawton, Oklahoma. She was born August 28, 1946 to Eugene and Gladys Hankins in War, West Virginia. She graduated Big Creek High School in War, West Virginia. On October 1, 1968, she married Dale Truitt in Pearisberg, VA.
Mrs. Truitt was a member of the East Tawas, Michigan First Baptist Church and had lived in Altus since 1980 moving from Oscoda, MI. She was an active member of the Eastern Star and the VFW Auxiliary.
Survivors include: her Father and Mother of New Port Richey, FL; her husband, Dale Truitt of the home; two children, Pamela Rene Truitt of Altus, OK and Leigha Miller and husband Danny of San Antonio, TX; a brother, Chris Hankins of New Port Richey, FL; a sister, Stephanie Brinegar and her husband Jim of New Port Richey, FL; two grandchildren, Justin Dale Truitt of Altus, OK and Derrick Benjamin Miller of San Antonio, TX; Very Special Close Friend Ms. Bea Hall of Altus, OK.
