Donna Leigh Easly, age 65, of Altus, passed away early Friday morning, October 4, 2013, at her residence, in Altus.
Mrs. Easly was born in Altus on December 28, 1947, to Clonus and Jacqueline (Hoffman) Farmer. After attending Eugene Field grade school, Donna began school at Navajo, where she graduated in 1966. On October 5, 1968, she married Lee Easly and they lived in Headrick until 1989, when she moved to Altus. After moving to Altus, she began working for 3KB in security and continued working there until her health began to fail in 2007. Donna also worked for many years at the cotton compress, classing and keypunching cotton information. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, playing bingo and spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her father and great granddaughter, Kylea Benivamondez, she is survived by her mom, Jackie Farmer, of Altus; two daughters, Shan McNutt and husband Cary of Headrick and Brandi Kinney of Altus; three sisters, Janice Wilson and husband Ron of Snyder, Oklahoma, Debbie Laney of Altus and Tina Briscoe of Altus; seven grandchildren, Brett Benivamondez and fianc" Diana Duke of Altus, Blake Benivamondez and fianc" Marianna Ramirez of Altus, Joshua Ornelas of Headrick, Dillon Ornelas of Headrick, Haley McNutt of Mangum, Danielle Faske and fianc" Adam Torres of Altus and Taryn Kinney of Altus; one great grandson, Bentlee Benivamondez of Altus; one great granddaughter, Madison Ornelas of Altus; a great granddaughter "on the way", Meyah Torres and her faithful K9 companion, Repo, along with many other relatives and friends.
Memorial services for Donna Easly will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel. Memorial services and cremation have been entrusted to Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory.
