Doris Anna Hayes, 61, of Altus died Saturday morning at the Norman regional Hospital in Norman. services will be held Friday at 2:00 pm at the New Hope Baptist Church. Officiating will be rev. J. Hill, Rev. M. West, Rev. Theron Booker, and Rev. Leroy Walker. burial will be in Altus Cemetery under the direction of Freedom Chapel and Lowell Funeral Home.

Hayes was born January 19, 1929 at Roxton, Texas. She was the daughter of Walter and Claudie Booker. She had been a resident of Altus since 1942 and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include, one son Leon Thomas Weaver of San Diego, California; one daughter Dorothy Lee Weaver of Norman, Oklahoma; seven sisters, Elois Bradley of Altus, Oklahoma; Velma Rogers of Pasadena, California; Bobbie Taylor of Altus, Oklahoma Nena West of Altus; Billie Joyce Hardy of Pasadena, California, Essie Louise booker of Paris, Texas; and Alma Lane of Paris, Texas; Also surviving are seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
