Obituary for Dorothy Imagene Stewart
Dorothy Imogene Stewart, 64, of Altus, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 1997. Services have been scheduled for 10am Friday at the Lowell-Tims Chapel with Rev. Boyd Whitehead officiating. Interment will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims funeral Home. Mrs. Stewart was born July 22, 1932 in Marietta, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of Claude and Mavis Lorene (Kerr) Walden. Jon July 24, 1954, Gene and Jack Stewart were united in marriage at Ringland, Oklahoma. They moved to Altus from Ardmore, Oklahoma in January of 1959. Mrs Stewart was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Survivors include husband Jack Stewart of the home; children, Debbie Hill of Altus, Oklahoma; brothers, Paul Walden of Utah; Carl Walden of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Walter Walden of Wichita, Kansas; sisters Peggy Reed of Ardmore, Oklahoma; Rebecca Stawn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Linda Shadeof Loveland, Colorado; three grandchildren; William and Amy Goley, of San Diego, California; Andrew Wright of Altus, and Tyler Hill of Altus; one great-grandchild, Baylee Goley of San Diego, California.
Preceded in death by parents and infant daughter.
