Escar Patton, age 64, passed away December 26, 1967, in San Angelo, Texas, after a long illness. He was born February 26, 1967 in Sulphur Springs, Texas to G.F. Patton and Minnie Wineingar. He was of Baptist faith, and his occupation was Interior Decorating.
Survivors include his wife of San Angelo, Texas; a daughter Mrs. Corley Wetzel, also of San Angelo and one granddaughter. He was also survived by two brothers, Oscar Patton, Martha, and Elbert Patton of Lawton, Oklahoma; three sisters Mrs. R.C. Davis, San Angelo, Texas, Mrs. H.C. Freeman, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Mrs. Juanita Sale, Pal Springs, California; 2 half brothers, W.C. Thomas, Lindsay, Oklahoma and Johnny Thomas, Martha, Oklahoma.
Funeral services for Escar Patton will be Saturday, October 28th 1967, 2:00 PM, at Martha Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Martha Cemetery.
