Eddie G Monroe Eddie G Monroe was born May 5th, 1911 in Wolfe City, Texas to Riley and Martha (Keizer) Monroe. He married Vina and they moved to Jackson County in 1954. Edd passed away at his home at 9:15PM September 13, 1982.

Edd was a Civil Service worker, a member of the Thomas Street Church of Christ, a member of the Elks Country Club, a member of the Masonic Lodge and served in the United States Army during World War II.

Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:30 P.M., September 15, 1982 at the Thomas Street Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
