Obituary for Eddie Lynn Brown
Eddie Lynn Brown, passed away Sunday November 4, 2018. Graveside services have been scheduled for 4:00 P.M., Tuesday November 6, 2018 at Restlawn Cemetery with Pastor Roger Ledford officiating and Military honors will be conducted by the United States Air Force Honor Guard.
Eddie was born July 19, 1934 in Comanche, Oklahoma to Billy and Esta (Qualls) Brown. He was raised and educated in Comanche. Eddie joined the Air Force August 1, 1954 he was stationed in Altus, Oklahoma where he met his future wife. On October 24, 1959, Loretta and Eddie were joined in marriage in Altus, Oklahoma. Eddie proudly served the Air Force for twenty six years working as a Military Police officer. He liked to tell stories about being a downtown Altus Police Patrol officer for the Air Force. After a tour in Taiwan, they returned to Jackson County and bought a farm in the Warren Community. Eddie farmed and ranched for forty years.
Eddie was a cherished, husband, father, brother, Uncle, Grandfather, Great Grand Father and friend.
Survived by one son Scott Brown and wife Charlotte of Headrick, Oklahoma ,one brother Bob Brown of Addington oklahoma . three sisters Judy Ruthardt of Groom Texas, Sue Rogers of Clayton, Oklahoma ,Dana Lucas and Husband James of Harlingen Texas; Four Grand Children Sunny Casmir and Eric of Pond Denton, Texas, Christopher Brown of Aubrey, Texas, Cody Brown of Altus Oklahoma, Amie Jensen and Husband Chuck of Manitou Oklahoma Three Great Grandchildren Bryon Casmir, Ryan Casmir And Sadie Jensen Several Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Great Nephews
Preceded in death by wife Loretta Brown his parents and grandparents one brother Jay Brown and two brothers in laws Louis Ruthardt and Chris Rogers.
