Obituary for Edgar A. Jones
Mr. Edgar A. Jones, age 47, of 812 Rochester St., Altus, died January 9th, 1977 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oklahoma City due to an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services have been set for Saturday, 1:00 P.M., St. John's Baptist Church, with the Reverend C. R. Harrington officiating. Burial will be in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Jones was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, having served in the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves. He was a member of the St. John's Baptist Church, President of the Lincoln High School Alumni, former member of the Board of Community Action, and a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include: his wife, Joy, of the home; two sons, Andrew William Jones of Dallas, TX and Willie Gene Williams of Altus; two grandchildren; one step-son, Harold Taylor; his Mother, Mrs. Anzella Griffin of Altus; one sister, Mrs. Bernardine Tablet Albert; five aunts; one uncle; five neices.
