Obituary for Edgar Pete Cargal
Mr. Edgar Pete Cargal, age 63, life long resident of the Blair community, died Thursday at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Saturday at the Blair First Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Marshall Howard.

Born November 6th, 1915 at Wolf City, Texas, he moved with his family, as an infant, to Blair. He was married at Hobart on October 14, 1939 to Lois Mae Morris. He was engaged in farming and trucking operations. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Blair.

Survivors, in addition to his wife of the home include: one son, Buddy Ray Cargal of Blair; one daughter, Lois LaDean Shatswell of Blair; four brothers, Ellis and Junior Cargal of Blair, Harley of Vernon, TX and Loren of Borger, TX; three sisters, Thelma Chastain and Maybelle Tabb of Blair and Sue Waggoner of Jackson MS; five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers.
