Obituary for Edna Ellen Austin
Edna Ellen Austin, 91, formerly of Altus, passed away Saturday in Duncan, Oklahoma, where she had resided the past four years.

Mr. Austin, the daughter of Oscar and Della Perry, was born December 10, 1907, in Blair; Oklahoma. She and Jimmy Taylor Austin were married in Duke, Oklahoma on July 27, 1923, and he preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

Edna Ellen Austin in survived by a host of nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and six brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services for Mrs Austin will be at 2:00pm on Tuesday at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Altus City Cemetery. Lowell-Tims is in charge of arrangements.

Visitation for family and friends of Mrs. Austin will be from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Monday evening at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.
