Obituary for Edna O. Carney
Edna Carney, 98, went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 17, 2011, at the Plantation Village Nursing Home in Altus.

She enjoyed Charles Bronson and John Wayne movies, fishing, attending farmers markets, and flea markets. She loved all animals, especially her own. Edna had a heart bigger than one could imagine and was more than willing to share her love.

Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Sampson "Pony" Carney, daughter, Eula Mae Long, daughter Ann and husband Bob Conn, granddaughter, Debbie Long, and grandson Steve Carney and wife Donna.

Edna is survived by her son, David and wife Charlene Carney, daughter Dorothy Carney, daughter Rose Witte, and son Jimmy Carney; grandchildren, Lois and husband Ron Harp, Richard Carney, Kit and husband Perfecto Garcia and their boys, Tyler and Trey Garcia, Bo Carney and wife Jennifer, Candice and husband Joseph Elrod and their son Bodie, Cary Wayne Witte, Raymond Long, Georgia Amor" and son Waylon Long, Marie Logsdon and Jim Bob Logsdon, Melissa Black, Tammy, Pattie, Angie, and Bobby Conn.
