Mr. Edward Lee Walker, age 79, of Eldorado, died at a hospital in Chillicothe Texas Hospital on May 11, 1970.
Mr. Walker was born October 1st, 1890 at Boyd, Texas and he was married to the former Ruby Dixon on April 23, 1921 at Eldorado, OK.
Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Wednesday, First United Methodist Church at Eldorado, officiated by the Reverend Donald Konkle and assisted by the Reverend Elbert Johnson. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Survivors include: his wife, Ruby Walker, of the home; two sons, Jimmy Walker of Arlington Heights, IL and Troy C. Walker of Irving, Texas; one daughter, Mrs. Leota Cole of Ft. Worth, TX; one daughter, Mrs. Lola Adams preceded him in death in 1955; two brothers, Roy Walker of Eldorado and Marshall Walker of Spearman, Texas; four sisters, Mrs. Lena Cooper of Richmond, CA, Mrs. Ura Dorsey of Clinton, OK, Mrs. Ima White of Eldorado and Mrs. Thelma Maberry of Costa Mesa, CA; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
