Electra Maness Eley passed away February 8th, 1982 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital at the age of 84 years, 2 months, and 17 days old. She was born November 21st, 1897 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee to John P. and Dora Mae (Cobb) Maness. Electra married Ira M. Eley on December 13th, 1914. He preceded her in death November 6th, 1968 after 54 years together.

Electra is survived by two brothers: Alton Maness of Clayton, New Mexico and Roy Maness of Dayton, Washington, one sister; Christine Blake of Lindales, Texas.

Services for Electra Maness Eley are scheduled for 2:00 P. M. Thursday, February 11th, 1982 at the Tims Chapel of Memories with Rev. Carl McCoy officiating. Burial will follow at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
