Obituary for Ella Salmon
Mrs. Ella Salmon, age 84, long time resident of this area, died Thursday morning at Park Lane Manor Nursing Home.

Funeral services have been set for 4:00 P.M., Saturday at Lowell Memorial Chapel officiated by the Reverend Carl Blackburn and assisted by the Reverend Carl McCoy. Burial will be in Altus City Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born December 19th, 1889 in Texas, she was married in Caddo, Oklahoma in 1914 to the late John Salmon who preceded her in death in 1962.

Survivors include: four sons, Leon and M.L. Salmon of Altus, John L. Salmon of Hastings, NE and Claude Salmon of Lawton, OK; three daughters, Mrs. Mantha Embrey of Oildale, CA, Mrs. Inez Garrison and Mrs. Dorothy Laney both of Hobbs, NM; one brother, Jim Larmon of Hobbs, NM; one sister, Mrs. Dolly Walker of Ft. Cobb, OK; 17 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
