Elmer Dewey Kirk


Elmer Dewey Kirk, 83, of Tipton died at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital Saturday morning. No services are scheduled. Arrangements are with Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.


Kirk was born February 2, 1907 at Tipton, Oklahoma and was the son of Sam and May Bell Kirk.
He married Bernice Margaret Judd October 22, 1960 in Las Vegas Nevada. He was retired farmer and had been a resident of Tipton since 1985 having moved back from Charlotte, North Carolina.

Survivors include; his wife Bernice J. Kirk of the home; three children, Betty Knight of Charlotte, North Carolina; Rita Royer of Charlotte, North Carolina; Jerry Dart if Ramona, California; three brothers, Dell Kirk of San Diego, California; Calvin Kirk of Santa Rosa, California; Wade Kirk, Santa Rosa, California; one sister, Sammie Dealy of Leucadia, California; eight, grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Mr. Kirk was preceded in death by his mother and father two brothers, Lloyd and Lawrence Kirk.
