Obituary for Elsie Woodward Bean
Mr. Elsie W. Bean, age 62, died Monday, May 31st, 1971, of an apparent heart attack.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Thursday at Lowell Memorial Chapel officiated by the Reverend Heath of Clinton. Burial will be in South Burns Cemetery near Burns Flat, Oklahoma under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born March 24, 1909 in Walters, OK, Mr. Bean had been living in Altus for the past number of years. He was a retired railroad employee and more recently had remained active in painting and carpenter work.
Survivors include: one daughter, Mrs. Mary Neal Sullins of Clinton, Oklahoma; three brothers, Elton of Whitesboro, TX, Jim of Grand Prairie, TX and Bill of Gainesville, TX; five sisters, Mrs. Alma Wallace of Sadler, TX, Mrs. Zelma McCarter of Gainesville, Mrs. Francis Hargeshemmier of Sherman, TX, Mrs. Mary Jo Turner of Grand Prairie, TX and Mrs. Floy Stevens of Martinez, CA; two grandchildren.
