Elzie Warren "Doc" Triplett


Elzie Warren "Doc" Triplett was born August 9, 1921 in Oklahoma. He died August 24, 1991 at the VA Hospital in Oklahoma City. He married Bennie Edgeworth November 12, 1966 in Altus, Oklahoma and she preceded him in death. in February 1991. He was a long time resident of Altus having resided here since 1943. He served during World War II in the U S Navy.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11 am Tuesday August 27, 1991 at the Altus Cemetery with Sonny Tims officiating under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Triplett is survived by his children, Patricia Martinez of Altus, Oklahoma; Darrell Smith, Altus, Oklahoma; brothers J.R. Triplett, Fritch, Texas; Kenneth Triplett, Corcisicano, Texas.

Mr. Triplett was preceded in death by his mother and father, wife, Bennie Triplett, sister Mable Wolf, brother Buck Triplett.
