Obituary for Emory Bennett "Bud" Piercy
Mr. Emory "Bud" Piercy, age 49, formerly of Eldorado, died Saturday night in Quanah of an apparent heart attack.

Funeral services have been set for 2:30 P.M., Monday afternoon at the Eldorado First Baptist Church, officiated by the Reverend Don Ladner. Burial will be in Olustee Cemetery under direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born July 11th, 1926 in Olustee, he had lived in the Eldorado area a number of years before moving to Quanah. He was a farm equipment operator and a Veteran of World War II.

Survivors include: his wife, Carolyn of Vernon, TX; a daughter, Rhonda Lin of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Anna Lou Wooten and Mrs. Laverne Hill, both of Eldorado; three brothers, A.C. Piercy of Amarillo, TX, James B. Piercy of Olney, TX and Thomas Lynn Piercy of Tulia, TX.
