Obituary for Ernest Eugene McAlister
Ernest McAlister, 66, of Tipton died at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Oklahoma City Tuesday. Services are scheduled for Saturday at 2:00pm in the Mr. Gilead Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Robert Wilson. Burial will be in the Tipton Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home, 1100 East Tamarack Road.

McAlister was born September 9, 1924 in Ernest, Texas. He was a farmer and World War II Veteran. He had been a resident of Tipton for 35 years moving there from Paris, Texas.

Survivors include one daughter, Tracy McAlister of Tipton, Oklahoma.
