Ernest Wright Warren age 93, of Altus, Oklahoma, passed away December 10, 1982, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital, in Altus.
Ernest was born September 10, 1889, in Sugar Valley, Georgia to Shelby Warren. He married Iva Mae Howard December 22, 1912 in Hester, Oklahoma. Iva preceded Ernest in death December 24, 1981. Ernest lived and farmed in the Martha community most of his life. After retiring from farming, he had the Martha Mercentile. He served on the Martha Cemetery Board and Board of Stewards for many years.
Funeral services for Ernest Wright Warren are scheduled for Saturday, December 11, 1982 at 3:30 pm in Tims Chapel of Memories, Altus, officiated by Rev. Bill Moss. Burial will follow in the Martha Cemetery, under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Ernest is survived by one daughter, Ernestine Thompson, Altus, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Judy dodson, Altus, Oklahoma; three great grandchildren, one brother, Clyde Warren, Norman, Oklahoma. Ernest was preceded in death by one son, Winfred, April 23, 1942.
