Obituary for Ervin Jack Miller
Funeral services have been set for Ervin Jack Miller, age 66, for 2 P.M. Wednesday afternoon at the Eldorado First Baptist Church with The Reverend Kenneth Coleman officiating. Burial will be in the Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home. Full Military Honors will be provided by Ft. Sill Honor Guard.

Miller was born April 14, 1920 at Tucumcari, NM. During WWII he enlisted in the United States Army and volunteered for the paratroopers. He served in the elite airborne units in the Pacific and was a member of the Occupation Forces in Japan. During the Korean War he saw action as a combat paratrooper . His last tour of duty was in Germany. After retirement in 1963, he returned to Eldorado, OK where he farmed until overtaken by ill health. He was the son of W.F. and Effie Bailey Miller who were early pioneer residents of Eldorado.

Sgt First Class Miller died at the Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX on November 22, 1986.

He is survived by a brother, William F. Miller of Tucumcari, NM; a sister, Jo Ella McAda of Alberquerque, NM; several nieces and nephews.
