Obituary for Esteban Sanchez
Estaban Sanchez, 67, of Altus died at the Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City , Saturday. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00pm Thursday at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. The Rosary will be held at 7:00pm Wednesday. Burial will be in Altus Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Sanchez was born November 27, 1924 at Stockdale, Texas. He was the son of Pedro and Maria Sanchez. He married Elsie Jimenez April 1, 1951 at Munday, Texas. He had been a resident of Altus for 36 years and was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Mr. Sanchez is survived by his wife, Elsie Sanchez, of the home; children, Gabrieal Sanchez, Altus, Oklahoma; Steven Sanchez Jr. Altus, Oklahoma; Joe Sanchez, Altus, Oklahoma; Rickey Sanchez, Altus, Oklahoma; Tony Sanchez, Altus, Oklahoma; Mary Hayes, Chickasha, Oklahoma; Barbara Sandaval, Houston, Texas; one brother, Tino Sanchez, Altus, Oklahoma; sisters, Tomasa Martinez, Altus, Oklahoma; Betty Ybarra, Altus, Oklahoma; Virginia garcia, San Jose, California; twenty-nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
