Esther Ann Little


Esther Ann Little was born July 27, 1889 at Wintzville, Mo. She died May 2, 1993 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus. She was the daughter of pioneer Jackson Countians James and Kate Little. They moved to northwest Altus in 1889 where they farmed until they moved to Altus in 1919. She had resided here until her death. She was an active member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church.

Services are scheduled for 10am Tuesday at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Tim Luschen officiating. Interment will be in the Altus Cemetery under the directions of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home.

Esther is survived nieces, Theresa Rudnici, Margaret Barton, June Little Fogel, nephew, Tony Little, other family members, Susie Hodson, Mary Ruth Putman, and Hazel Little; sisters, Mary Jane Little of Altus, Oklahoma;

Esther is preceded in death by her mother and father, three brothers, John, Pete, and M.L. (Bud) Little.
