Ethel Abbott age 81, of Altus, died July 7, 1971 at Altus House Nursing Home, Altus, Oklahoma.
Ethel was born March 12, 1890 in Trenton, Texas to Alonzo and Mary (Dlene) Lewg. She married J. M. Abbott August 23, 1963. She had lived in Vernon, Texas since 1926.
Funeral services are scheduled for July, 7, 1971 at 1:00pm in Tims Chapel, Altus, officiated by Rev. G. C. Gober. Burial will follow in the Eastview Cemetery, Vernon, Texas under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Ethel Abbott is survived by her daughters, Mary Helen Sutton, Altus, Oklahoma; Bertha William New Orleans, La.; Evelyn Hunt, California ; Jimmie Dunning, ford, New Jersey; Aletha Branton, Lelord, Mississippi; ten grandchildren, six great grandchildren, one sister Mrs. E. R. Legg, Slaton, Texas.
