Ethel LaVelle Anglund was born December 23, 1908 at Reed, Oklahoma to Pinky and Lizzie (Buchannun) Saunders. She passed away November 15, 1966 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at University Hospital. Ethel had resided in Altus since 1939. She owned and operated Ethel's Nursing Home, belonged to the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ, W.O.W. Rebeccah of Oklahoma, and the Nursing Association.
Ethel Anglund is survived by her children, four daughters, Mrs Richard Watson, St. Louis, Mo.; Mrs Lawrance Davis, San Francisco, California; Mrs. Elvin Kelley, La Juanta, Colorado; Mrs. Richard Bunce, Altus, Oklahoma; eleven grand children, two brothers, Orville Saunders, Altus, Oklahoma; Leonard Saunders, Altus, Oklahoma; one sister, Mrs. Flash Gordon.
Funeral Services for Ethel Anglund are scheduled for Thursday, November 17, 3:00pm at the Elm and Hudson Church of Christ with Wallace Goach officiating. Burial will follow at the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
