Obituary for Ethel Mae Cupp Biddy
Ethel Biddy of Hobart, Oklahoma passed away April 22, 1979. Funeral services were at 2:00 pm Wednesday at the Blair Methodist Church. Rev. Bill Mease and Rev. Ron Walker officiated. Interment was in the Warren Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Born Ethel Mae Cupp on March 1, 1908, in Salina, Texas, she was the daughter of Valentine and Elizabeth J (Ford) Cupp. She married Hardy Biddy and he preceded her in death in 1977. Mrs. Biddy taught school in Blair for 40 years before retiring in 1970. She had lived in Hobart since 1972. Ethel was a former member of the O.E.S. and of the Eastern Star. She attended the Methodist Church.

Ethel is survived by step-sons, Leon Biddy of Ada, Oklahoma, Roe Biddy of Grove, Oklahoma and Vance Biddy of Sunland, California; two sisters, Mrs. Mike Carter of Littlefield, Texas and Margaret Biddy of Hobart, Oklahoma; one brother, Charles L Cupp of Chilavista, California; and by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
