Funeral services for Ethel Phillips, 83, of Altus are pending. Mrs. Phillips passed away June 25, 1993 at a local nursing home, Mrs. Phillips was born April 9, 1910 in Missouri to Elmer and Sylvia wren. She married Royce Phillips February 2, 1936 in Vivian, Oklahoma. Mrs. Phillips was a housewife and a long time member of the Trinity Baptist Church. Lowell-Tims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband Royce Phillips of the home; children, Dale and Rachel of Ft. Worth, Texas; Royce H. Phillips Jr. and Lillian of Layton, Utah; brothers, Virgil Wren of Bakersfield, California; billy Wren of Weldon, California; sister Frieda Dufrense of Denver, Colorado; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, one son.
