Obituary for Eunice Griffin
Eunice (Carothers) Griffin was born in Greer County November 30th 1918 to George and Minnie Carothers.

She joined the First Baptist Church in Mangum when she was eight years old.
C.E Wilbanks was the pastor.

When she was around twelve years old, her parents moved to a farm north of Granite to the Lake Creek Community. She moved her membership to the Lake Creek Baptist Church her membership has been there since then L.M. Kemp was pastor at that time.

After leaving Lake Creek Eunice moved to Altus, worked for C.R. Anthony Company for a number of years. She married Norman Griffin, Norman died in 1981.

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Neal, Fred and Newell Carothers.

She is survived by six nephews and one niece.

Funeral services will be 3:30 pm. Thursday, November 3, 2009 at City Cemetery Chapel with Rod Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home,

She will be buried next to her husband, in the Altus City Cemetery.
