Fabian Rodriguez, age 63, long time resident of Altus passed away early Wednesday, November 18th, 1987, morning at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital following a long illness.
Services have been set for Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at the Templo Sinai Asamblea de Dios Church on North Blain St., officiated by Rev. Jose Davila, assisted by Rev. Jose Moreno.
Born December 2nd, 1923 at Sinton, TX, he was the son of Andres and Lorenza Rodriguez. He was married to Maria Enriqueta Cervantes, September 1, 1948 at Edinburg, TX. They moved to Altus in 1962 where he farmed for Warren "Corky" Bryce and later Murray Williams.
Survivors include: his wife, Maria Enriqueta Rodriguez of the home; his Father, Andres Rodriguez of Edinburg, TX; three sons, Fabian Rodriguez of Lawton, OK, Tomas Rodriguez and Pedro Rodriguez, both of Altus, OK; five daughters, Kathleen Cruz of San Antonio, TX, Irene Guerra of Lawton, OK, Maria E. Garcia of Pflugerville, TX, Lorenza Tamez of Buda, TX and Juanita Izquierdo of Fulda, West Germany; two brothers, Luis Rodriguez of Port Arthur, TX and Jose Rodriguez of Edinburg, TX; 19 grandchildren.
