Obituary for Faye Clapp
Mrs. Faye Clapp, age 68, of Olustee, died Wednesday, November 17th, 1976, at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services have been set for Friday, 2:00 P.M., Frederick Church of Christ, with Albert Trent officiating and Eddie Lee assisting. Burial will be in the Frederick Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Mrs. Clapp was married May 30, 1934 at Morrilton, Arkansas. She was a member of the Olustee Church of Christ for 46 years and she was a teacher by trade.
Survivors include: her husband, Eugene Clapp of Olustee; two sons, Granville Clapp of Longview, Texas and Edmond Clapp of Hope, Arkansas; three daughters, Janell Gibson of Longview, Texas, Wanda Slater, and Shirley Holder; 16 grandchidren; a brother Bryant Roberts of Hope, Ark who preceded her in death; three sisters, Jo Lota of Tyler, Obie Langford of Oklahoma City and Lee Willis, of Hope Arkanses.
She as been preceded in death by a brother, Herbert Roberts.
