Felipe Garcia, age 56, died March 9th, 1994 in the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Mr. Garcia was born August 23, 1937 in Edinburgh, Texas to Elifonzo and Maria Garcia. He married Juanita Perez April 6, 1959 in Blackfoot, Idaho. He has lived in Jackson County for 23 years.
Prayer Services are scheduled for 8:30 Friday at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Tim Luschen officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to Juanita Garcia.
Survivors include: his father, Elifonzo Garcia of Mission, TX; his mother, Maria Garcia, also of Mission, TX; his wife, Juanita Garcia of the home; seven children, Sylvia Garcia, Felipe Garcia, Jr., Rolando Garcia, Felix Garcia, Margarita Garcia and Jorge Garcia, all of Elmer, OK and Maria Oralia Chairat and husband K.C. of Dallas, TX; three brothers, Felix Garcia and Alberto Garcia, both of Mission, TX and Joe Garcia of California; one sister, Fida Garcia of Mission, TX; one grandson, Dylan Lynn Garcia.
