Obituary for Florence B. Sterling
Florence B. Sterling, age 71, long time resident of Altus died Saturday, October 10th, 1987 at the Cedar Crest Manor Nursing Home in Lawton.

Services have been set for Saturday morning at 11:00 A.M. at the Macedonia Baptist Church officiated by The Reverend Anthony L. Eaton. Burial will be with full Military Honors at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born November 17th, 1916 in Atlanta, Texas, he was the son of Issac Sterling and Bertha Hart. He was a Veteran of WWII serving 24 years with the U.S. Army before his retirement as a Staff Sergeant.

Survivors include: two sons, Floyd Sterling of California and Florian Bert Sterling of Altus, OK; two daughters, Alanna Sterling of Altus and Alma Bateman of California; two sisters, Alyce Foster and Bercey Sterling, both of Altus; one brother, Charles Sterling of Tuscon, AZ.
