She was born August 31, 1898 near Wichita Falls, Texas to Nathan Weaver. She married Floy Weaver August 10, 1922 in Grandfield, Oklahoma. They moved to Frederick, Oklahoma in 1924. Ten years later they moved to Altus, Oklahoma in 1934. She was a member of the D.A.D. Baptist Church, Eastern Star and Past Reagent of D.A.R.
Funeral services for Floy Minnie Frye are scheduled for 10:00am Thursday June 22, 1967 in the First Baptist Church, Altus, officiated by Rev. Gene Garrison. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Floy Minnie Frye is survived by her husband, Lee of the home, one son Donald N. Frye, Galveston, Texas; two grandchildren, Donald Kevin Frye, Allison Ballinger Frye; two brothers, Otis T. Weaver, Safford, Arizona; Orville G. Weaver, Devol, Oklahoma; one sister, Velma G. Weaver, Muskogee, Oklahoma.
