Obituary for Frances Bradley Kendall
Frances Bradley Kendall, 99, resident of Altus, Oklahoma passed away December 18, 2017 at Jackson County after a brief illness. Frances was born November 24, 1918 in Olustee, Oklahoma to Dave and Daisy (Thrash) Bradley. She attended school at Olustee and graduated school in 1937 and attended Southwestern State University in Weatherford, Ok. Frances married Loyd Kendall on February 17, 1939 in Watonga, Oklahoma. He passed away, March 18, 1988.
She worked part-time at the government cotton classing office from 1943 until 1974. Frances also worked for the Jackson County Tax Assessor's Office 1963 until retiring in 1985 as the second deputy. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed the Sunday School Class and Church Services. She enjoyed keeping the house and yard and being with Katherine's family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Loyd Kendall, her parents, sister Katherine, niece Heather B, brother-in-law, Gene Bryce. Survivors include her nephews and nieces, David and Karen Bryce, Altus, Ok; Gene and Patricia Bryce of Altus Ok; Connie and David Slaton, Mangum, Ok; Gene David Bryce, Sayer and Sutton, Altus, Ok; Kelly, Jerod, Eli Johns, Duncan, Ok; Rachel, Madyson, Bryce, Paxton, Mangum, Ok; Johnna Phelps, Altus, Ok; Caley Slaton, Mangum, Ok; Brittany, Steve, Hunter, Brooklynn Forster, Blair, Ok; Emily, Jeff, Landry, Lincoln Edwards, Hydro, Ok; Jane and Gary Wilson, Weatherford, Ok.
The family will greet friends at visitation from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Lowell-Tims Funeral in Altus.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 21, 2017 at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Altus with interment following at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Altus under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
