Obituary for Frank A. Clark
Frank A. Clark, age 63 of Altus, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, January 22, 2008 at Jackson County Memorial Hospital.
He was born January 24, 1944 in Wichita Kansas to Ernestine (Bruce) Clark and William B. Clark. Frank had lived in the Altus community for the last two years moving here from Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Frank began his military career with the United States Army in 1961, where he served four years. In 1965 he enlisted with the United States Air Force, serving until he retired in 1986 as Master Sergeant. While serving in the military Frank received numerous commendation medals, including the Air Force Commendation Medal one Oak Leaf Cluster, Air Force Good Conduct Medal with four Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with four Bronze Stars, Air Force Longevity Service Ribbon with four Oak Leaf Clusters, NCO Professional Military Education Ribbon one Oak Leaf Cluster, Small Arms Expert Marksmanship Ribbon, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Frank loved motorcycles and socializing with his biker buddies. He also enjoyed spending time with his active duty military friends and retirees; and anybody who enjoyed life.
