Obituary for Frank Lafayette Knox
Mr. Frank Knox, age 91, pioneer resident of the Headrick/Friendship community, died Sunday at his home at 310 E. Walnut.

Funeral services have been set for 10:00 A.M. Tuesday morning at Lowell Memorial Chapel officiated by the Reverend C. C. Gober. Burial will be at Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.

Born October 26th, 1890 at Loco, Texas, he was married at Mangum on March 12, 1924 to the late Ethel Kornegay. She died in August 1980. A retired farmer, they had lived and farmed in the same area for a great number of years before moving to Altus. He was one of a few remaining Veterans of World War I in this area , a longtime member of the Friendship Methodist Church, and a member of Post #44 American Legion.

Survivors include: one daughter, Patsy Haught of Headrick, OK, one son, Billy Knox of Headrick; one sister, Zelva Knox of Altus; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
