Fred Schlosser, age 54, of Altus, passed away May 9, 1982, at Jackson County Memorial Hospital in Altus.
Fred was born January 4, 1928, in New Port, Kentucky, to Frederick Schlosser. Fred married Dorothy Clinton July 26, 1949, in New Port Kentucky. He had been a resident of Southwest Oklahoma since 1965. Fred opened the Diamond Mine June 6, 1977, after managing Zale's for 12 years. He was a member of the Altus Chamber, Ambassador, a Mason, Shriner, Past Senior Warden.
Funeral services for Fred Schlosser are planned for Tuesday, May 11, 1982, at 2 pm in St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Altus, officiated by James Mahan. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Fred is survived by his wife Dorothy, of the home, one daughter, Cindy Alexander, Altus; two grandchildren, Jeremy and Kristin, one son-in-law Gary Alexander.
