Obituary for Gaines R. Hensley
Mr. Gaines R. Hensley, age 98, of 512 N. Jackson, Altus, died on September 14th, 1976 at the Altus House Nursing Home.

Funeral services have been set for 10:30 A.M., Thursday, at Tims Chapel with Wayne Price officiating. Burial will be in Victory Cemetery under direction of Tims Funeral Home.

Mr. Hensley was born November 30th, 1877 in North Carolina and he was married to the former Irma Wheeler in 1948. He was a member of the Elm & Hudson Church of Christ.

Survivors include: his wife, Irma of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Claude Morris of Seattle, WA; one son, Virgil Hensley of Altus; one grandchild; three great-grandchildren; three step-sons, Bob Wheeler of Buffalo, NY, Clifford Wheeler of New York and Worley Wheeler of New Mexico.
