Garnett Gale Powers age 43 of Altus, Oklahoma, died June 14, 1966 in Altus. He was born May 8, 1923 in Duke, Oklahoma to Henry E. and Eva May (Smithey) Powers. He all been a resident of southwest Oklahoma all of his life. Garnett married Lola Middleton March 6, 1943.
Funeral services for Garnett Gale Powers are scheduled for June 14, 1966 at 2:00pm in the First Methodist Church officiated by Dr. Lee Bowles. Burial will follow in the Restlawn Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
Garnett Gale Powers is survived by his wife, Lola, of the home in Altus, Oklahoma; his mother Mrs. Eva Powers Linder of Mangum, Oklahoma; one son Michael of the home, in Altus, Oklahoma; two brothers Henry Powers, Mangum, Oklahoma; Raymond Powers, Ozona, Texas; one sister, Sally May Dickerson, Mangum, Oklahoma.
