Gary William King, Sr. age 60, passed away Saturday, June 11, 2011 in Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Gary was born September 6, 1950 in Stratford, Oklahoma to Louis Henry and Mable Ophelia (Drake) King. He graduated from Crooked Oak High School in 1968. Upon his return he worked for Sutherland Lumber, Wicks Lumber, Big L. and Fox Lumber where he managed the store in Altus, Oklahoma for 25 years.

He married Barbara J. Hall on March 1, 1974 at the Jordan Baptist Church in Oklahoma City. He was a wonderful husband, father, brother and grandfather and his family was always first. Gary loved to hunt and fish with his brothers at Fox Lumber. He will always be with us in our hearts and the memories we have will suffice until we meet him in heaven.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Jim Fox, Mark Hoskins, and Chris Poindexter for their moral and spiritual support.
