Georgia V. Nunez passed away Monday, November 29, 1999, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 88.
Georgia was born November 17, 1911 in Monterey, Mexico to Roseleo Valladerez and Maria Gofina. She married Antonio Nunez October 26, 1937 in Benjamin, Texas. Georgia resided in Altus, Oklahoma for forty years as a housewife and mother. She was a member of the Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Georgia was currently living in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the past three years.
She is survived by one son, Samuel Valladarez of Plainview, Texas; seven daughters, Lucy Burk of Oklahoma City, Georgia Novotny of Frederick, Oklahoma, Mary Garcia of San Antonio, Texas, Adela Hughes of Blair, Oklahoma, Toney Hernandez of Ulysses, Kansas, Eloisa Sheets of Shelbyville, Indiana, Rosa Fedderson of Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania; twenty-two grandchildren, several great-grandchildren; three brothers, Salvador Valladarez of Los Angele, California, Jesus Valladarez and Leo Valladarez of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Nina Ramirez of California, Josephina B. Quinteros of Crowell, Texas, Camillia Urenas of Napa Valley, California, Isabell Villalobes of Wichita Falls, Texas.
Gerogia is preceded in death by her husband, Antonio; her parents, and one brother.
A Rosary has been scheduled for 7:00pm at the Lowell-Tims Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 Wednesday, at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church with Father Joseph Jacobi officiating. Interment will follow at the Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell-Tims Funeral Home
