Obituary for Gerald Lavon Harris
Gerald Lavon Harris, Grace Living Center, went to meet his Lord on October 31, 2004. Gerald was born to the late Clyde and Hazel (Conaway) Harris, on November 8, 1926 at Walters, Oklahoma.
Gerald lived in Jackson County most of his life and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church, having accepted Jesus Christ at an early age.
Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, Miles Lavern, Calvin, Delbert and Kenneth and one sister, Juanita Coe.
He is survived by three brothers, Jesse Ray and wife Alma of Altus, Oklahoma, Joe and wife Ruth of Bixby, Oklahoma and Willie Harris of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Joyce Harris of Altus, Oklahoma and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, November 3, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at the Altus City Cemetery with Dr. Richard Ventonis officiating.
