Obituary for Glen Jay Alderson
Glen Jay Alderson was born in Memphis TN on April 9, 1972 and was 46 years old when he passed away in his home on July 25, 2018.
When he was 16 years old he moved to make Oklahoma his home. Jay lived at several different residences around Ponca City throughout the years but his home away from home was The Hall of Heroes. It was here that he made countless friends and Acquaintances.
Jay loved his cats who were his children in life and he would do anything for them. His greatest passions were of playing Magic the gathering, collecting comic memorabilia, listening to ICP and all around just having fun.
He also attended the King Luther’s School of wrestling for a time and loved telling funny stories from his time there.
He was even featured in the local paper for his volunteer work at NERA
Jay had the biggest heart of anyone, he always helped others even if it was giving his last dollar. His friendliness and kindness to all people and his devotion to his family and friends is a tribute to the beauty of his heart and soul. his generosity and quirky humor surpassed anyone’s, he always found the bright side of life no matter what the situation was.
But his biggest love was that of his family and close friends. He loved the visits from his mother Glenda Curlee as they were very close . Holidays were very special to Jay, he wanted nothing more than to be surrounded by those he loved and who loved him.
His presence on this earth will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege to have known him. Now he is flying high with the eagles and our angel is watching over us all.
Jay is survived in death by his Mother Glenda Curlee, sister Christy Taylor, niece Jessica Sharp and her two boys, niece Gloria Sharp and nephew Christopher Pretti
Jay is proceeded in death by his father James David Alderson

From his friends and family a fair well whoop whoop.

A memorial service for Jay will be Noon, Monday August 6, 2018 at Hall of Heroes 119 E Grand Ave, Ponca City, Oklahoma. Services are under the direction of Lowell - Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma
