Obituary for Glenn W. Cotton
Glen Cotton, age 67, former resident of Eldorado, died in San Jose, CA, December 23rd, following a long illness.
Funeral services have been set for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, December 27th at the First Baptist Church in Eldorado. Burial will be in Eldorado Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Funeral Home.
Born September 27th, 1906 at Quanah, Texas. He was married to Milre Whittney in 1961.
Survivors include: his wife, Milre Cotton of the home; four daughters, Marie Freitas, Jo Ann Ashford, Helda Rawlings, all of San Jose, CA and Waunna Ingles of Quanah, Texas. Two sons, Alton Jean and Glenzel Wayne preceded him in death. Additional survivors include: his Mother, Florence Cotton; one brother, Jean Cotton of Eldorado; one sister, Dorothy Allen of Granite; two step-children, Charles and Betty Whitten of San Jose, CA; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
