Obituary for Glenna Elder (Surratt) Boyd
Glenna Elder Surratt, age 90, of Altus, died Thursday, November 5th, 1998 at the Jackson County Memorial Hospital. Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 9th at the Lowell Tims Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Sonny Tims. Burial will follow in Altus City Cemetery under the direction of Lowell Tims Funeral Home.

She was born December 17th, 1907 at Victory, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of J. R. and Nancy (Shelton) Elder. She was a lifelong resident of Jackson County and a member of the Baptist Church. Glenna married Jude Surratt in 1924 at Altus and was a homemaker.

Survivors include: one daughter, Virginia Surratt Myers of Moriarty, New Mexico; one niece, Jody Elder of Altus; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and seven brothers and sisters.
