Guadalupe S. Ramirez, 84, longtime resident of Olustee, Oklahoma passed away November 12, 2022, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Guadalupe was born December 12, 1937, in Edcouch, Texas to Candelario and Franscica (Reyes)Suniga. She was raised around Hereford, Texas before moving to Olustee, Oklahoma in 1962. On May 29, 1973, in Hess, Oklahoma she married Jesus Ramirez, Sr.. Guadalupe enjoyed playing Spanish bingo, cooking but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was blessed with a large family, fifteen children. She was a devoted, wife, mother and grandmother. Her pride and joy were her fifty grandchildren, sixty-five great grandchildren, and her sixteen great – great grandchildren.
When Guadalupe wasn’t at home tending to her family she could be found at church, worshipping Jesus Christ and she was a proud member of the Olustee Assembly of God Church.
Guadalupe leaves a legacy of love and devotion for her family, and a deep love for her savior Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in Death by her parents, Candelario and Franscica (Reyes)Suniga, two sons, Porfirio Gracia, Jr., Ramiro Garcia Jr.: three sisters, two brothers, a great grandchild, three greatgrandchildren, and her beloved husband Jesus Ramirez, Sr.
Left to honor Guadalupe’s memory are her five sons, Candelario Garcia and wife Lori, Eliasar Garcia, Jose Angel Ramirez, Jesus Ramirez, Jr. ,Joshua Andrew Ramirez and wife Chelsea, eight daughters, Esperanza Sanchez, Aurora Ramirez and husband Jose, Oralia Bonfy, and husband Dane, Norma Lopez and husband Paul, Frances Marez and husband Joe, Rosalinda Garcia, Zulema Rodriguez and husband Rudy, San Juana Estraca and husband Ismael; brother, Fidensio Suniga, sister, Candelaria Vargus, sixty three grandchildren, sixty five great grandchildren, sixteen great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and her beloved church family.
Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at Lowell – Tims Funeral Home, Altus, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Lowell – Tims Funeral Home Chapel, Altus, Oklahoma with interment to follow at Olustee Cemetery, Olustee, Oklahoma.
Services have been entrusted to Lowell-Tims Funeral Home and Crematory, Altus, Oklahoma.
