Obituary for Hallie Baucum
Hallie Baucum of Altus passed away October 8, 1964 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born October 13 1897 in Altus, Oklahoma to W.A. and Belle (Toney) Baucum. She worked as a Court Clerk in Altus for one year then in Oklahoma City for 25 years at the State Capitol until she retired two years ago. Hallie was a member of the First Christian Church.

Hallie Baucum is survived by three sisters, Mrs Ellis Gafford, Sulphur Springs, Texas; Mrs. E.R. Martin, Abilene, Texas; Mrs. Nelda Black, Altus, Oklahoma; two brothers, Jim Baucum, Altus, Oklahoma; Tony Baucum, Ojai, California; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Hallie Baucum is scheduled for October 10, 1964 in the Tims Chapel with Rev. Joe Fredericks and Rev. Gene Garrison officiating. Burial will follow in the Altus Cemetery under the direction of Tims Funeral Home.
